Meet Our Teachers/Programs (Kiddie Korral Kastle staff collectively has over 100 yrs. of teaching experience)

All employees at the Kiddie Korral Kastle are CPR/First Aid Certified. Our employees continually attend classes and seminars throughout the year pertaining to the childcare industry. This continual education is one of the factors that keeps our curriculum fresh, innovative and creative. Every teacher, beginning with our Infant Room Teacher continuing through to our Before & After School Coordinator, are responsible to turn in both a curriculum and newsletter on a monthly basis. These curricula are reviewed and approved by both our director and head teacher. Our younger classrooms embrace “circle time”, which consists of various songs, stories and flashcards.

Dana & Harry Frye - Owners/Directors

Mrs. Dana Frye, "Miss Dana" started the Kiddie Korral in 1989, in her home as a childcare provider through Gloucester County family daycare association.  In 1990, after graduating from Gloucester County College, she became a state-licensed Director and State licensed Childcare facility licensed for 12 children.  In 1991, she than moved her location to a new space on Main St. where she was licensed for 39 children.  Hard work and determination and her drive to become even larger and have even a bigger and better facility, it was in 1995, she rented space in Timberline Shopping Center where she was licensed for 72 children.  It was in 2002, she made her permanent home back on the same road, where she began her business in 1989.  It was then that the Kiddie Korral, Inc. became known as "Kiddie Korral Kastle, Inc. at 672 Main St., Barnsboro, NJ.  Her plans are to expand even larger in 2007, as she has plans for a big addition to take place on her facility. Mr. Harry, her partner in life, has now become her partner in business too.  After graduating from the Director's Institute recently, he became the other half of the management Team at Kiddie Korral Kastle, Inc. 

Miss Chrissy - Assistant Director & Summer Camp Teacher

Miss Chrissy is on top of every situation. She is our multitasker. She is the Assistant Director (and Miss Dana's right arm). She has worked at the Kastle for over 9 years, and is a fantastic asset to the Kiddie Korral Kastle. Miss Chrissy will be a permanent fixture as her love for our school and the children is impeccable.

Infant Room

Our infants thrive in our home-like atmosphere. Our beautifully crafted rocking chairs are the focal point of this majestic backdrop. We provide them with two rooms. Our main room, where most of our “first steps” take place is filled with walkers, mobiles and toys to massage their inquisitive little minds. Our nursery is our second room and where our little angels take their naps. This area is located in a very quiet and serene setting.

With three children of her own Miss Lynn knows her way around our Infant Room. She has been with us for five years and our small ones are so attached to her . Miss Lynn's greatest quality is her patience and motherly touch. She continues to keep our babies happy, healthy and safe.

Be on the lookout when entering our Toddler Room. These tykes are always on the go! We provide them with a huge open area with plenty of mats. One of their favorite activities is our indoor jungle gym and our tubes and tunnels. They also have their very own bathroom so that they may leave those diapers behind and embrace “potty training”.

Miss Sue

Miss Erin

Miss Sue is a returning employee of Kiddie Korral Kastle. She brings with her many new and exciting ideas for the children!  With her prior experience running our Infant room, and having two sons of her own, Miss Sue will be quite capable of working in our busiest room, "Our Toddler Room"  We welcome her back, and know she will be a much needed addition to the Kastle.

Erin is our First Floor Supervisor. Her position is essential to ensure the safety and well-being of our little ones. Erin has over 9 years experience working at the Kastle. She is extremely wonderful working with "our little ones", and the children are drawn to her outgoing and bubbly personality. Erin is a true natural working in the field. Both children and parents are always secure in the fact that with Miss Erin in charge, there is a sense of peaceful serenity that the children will be safe, secure and most of all....Happy at Kiddie Korral Kastle.

Pre-School Classrooms (children three and four years of age)

Before & After School

Both our three and four year old rooms are set up with different centers and  play areas for the children. Each room is equipped with a huge blackboard, computer and interactive toys. These two classrooms follow a very stringent, theme-based curriculum. Children are presented with projects on a daily basis and are constantly being challenged. Both class-rooms have their own bathroom, kitchen and project center. Our four-year project center is our newest classroom. It has a black and white checker floor with bold red and blue accents.

Our Before & After School class is located in an entirely separate building conveniently located behind our nursery school. We have students from our township as well as neighboring townships and we provide transportation to and from school. Children have the opportunity to begin homework, go outside to let off some steam and participate in projects and games. Tuition for this program remains the same price even when public schools are closed and children are present for the entire day (pertains to full-time students).

Miss Barbara

Miss Patti

Barbara is the Kiddie Korral Kastle's longest and most loyal employee. She has worked for us since we opened. She is the perfect attribute to our three year old class and Miss Patti's left arm. The children look to Miss Barbara for plenty of hugs and loving guidance.

Patti has been with us for almost seven years but her experience extends for over 17 years. She is our Three-Year Old Teacher. Patti has always worked with this age group and has had many years to perfect her curriculum. In 2003 she received her CDA in Child Care and officially became the Kiddie Korral Kastle's Group Teacher.

Miss Debbie

Miss Joan

Debbie has by far the most energy of the group, there are times when our four year olds cannot keep up! She is the other half of our Pre-K team and can usually be found making up songs and reading stories to our children. With over twelve years experience in early childhood, six at our school, Miss Debbie is an irreplaceable personality.

Miss Joan has a winning program for our school-agers.  She offers creative arts and crafts to the program, and a handy homework helper!  Miss Joan has 3 grown children of her own, as well as a granddaughter.  She is a much needed asset to our program and our team.  We are very fortunate to have her.

Kamp Kastle

Come join us this summer for a truly out-of-this world adventure! We offer a plethora of different activities with creative teachers. Children go on four trips a week, including swimming and the curriculum is based around our designated themes each week! Summer Camp is for children between the ages of 5-13.
